August 4, 2010 NYC Networking Party

It’s our last networking event of the summer!

Come join us August 4, 2010 to network, teach, learn, mentor, help and collaborate. This is a great way to make meaningful connections with everyone you meet.

As a reminder, this is not a place to solicit dates, get drunk, or harass people for jobs. It’s a place for people who have something to offer and are looking for ways to help each other.

This month we have a speaker, Dr. Howard Leifman, who will discuss how students, young people, and midlife career changers can help themselves and each other in the job market. Dr. Leifman has had his own consulting firm, (http://www.howardleifman.com/) and he is a founder of MyCareerGPS (http://www.mycareergps.net/). Prior to that, he has been Chief People Officer at Vault.com, Director of Staffing and Recruiting at William M. Mercer, Inc., and as Director of Special Services at NYU, he has coached more than 6,000 MBA students.

He will be speaking twice – first at 6:15pm, and repeated at 6:45pm.

Before you come, PRINT OUT THIS FORM, fill it in, and bring it with you.

Time: 5:30pm onward

Location:  Public House – 140 E. 41st. Street (between Lexington and 2nd Avenue) New York, NY 10017

If you want to volunteer to help us greet attendees, register them, take photos, etc, please meet us at the Public House at 5:00.
